<!-- Hi. I am trying to create a list of the most liked items in the sidebar widget. I have like button activated and shortcodes in sidebar widgets activated also.
At the top of the sidebar it says "most liked website hosting" with no items liked yet. Except there are 4 likes in the buttons. How do I connect them to the most liked?
I am after the 3 most liked items per sidebar - (not the whole website)
The site is only on my LocalHost at the moment so nothing visual available.
Following is the code I have used.

[likebtn_most_liked content_types="custom" title="Most liked Website Hosting" show_likes="1" number="3"]

After signup you will be given access to the HostGator reseller control panel, Web Host Manager. According to the screenshot the Most Liked Content widget does work. It shows your custom items.
If you want to see post/page titles you have to configure Like Button on the widget "Buttons" tab instead of using shortcodes.
Deleting items feature is not available yet.

The custom items is static. I can reset them to 0. But I cannot reset the top 2. I cannot reset them and have no idea where the buttons are!
The like buttons on my sidebar are also not working. I can click on them and increase the values (does not change the Most Liked Content Widget amounts)but when I come back to them later on they are at 0 again.

Can I use this code to remove the buttons? $("#likebtn").remove() And how do I use it correctly? Where do I put it?

Sorry, I only have limited experience.

Thanks in advance

But I cannot reset the top 2

You can edit votes by clicking on a number of likes/dislikes on Statistics tab.

The like buttons on my sidebar are also not working.
Could you please send a link to the page with the sidebar.

Are you trying to remove the button from your website page?

- The 4 likes on the bottom are not shown at the top.

When I edit the top 2 showing likes and enter 0, then after I reset the screen reverses to the 2 likes, even if I wait 10 minutes.

All of these buttons are to be deleted. I was just working out how to do this.

The issue has been fixed. Reinstall the plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/likebtn-like-button/

No. You can't delete items from statistics for now.

It is only my localhost at the moment.

The like button is the key component of my website.
For people to rate and spread the news.

It is the last component before I can put it all together.

Please read through all the emails before. All the info is there that I can supply.

I have downloaded and installed the like button again.

I can now reset the Most Liked to 0.
The Most Liked list on the sidebar is now all 0.

But the like counters on the sidebar - I can click them and get a like. I then reset and I can click it again (have it set on 1 sec.)But when I come back to it later it had reverted to 0.

Also the likes that I had put in did not register in the most liked at all. What can I do?
Is there some link or identifier that I need to put in?

Is the code to delete the old like buttons, is that something you guys etc are working on? It would be a great help.

Many thanks again and again
Trevor Hammond

How did you enabl this like button?
1) On the plugin Buttons tab.
2) Using [likebtn] shortcode.
3) By inserting HTML-code into the post/page.

This is my sidebar html. I copied it from the code generator. When it did not work I tried deleting the data-identifier manually. But that did not change anything. There are two like buttons in this code. None of them work. I can add likes but they disappear after time. And the most liked list does not change.
If you read through the emails, it is all documented.

Let's concentrate at first on this like button in a red square. Let's forget about sidebar for a while.
Without access to your website and without precise answers we will be unable to help.

How did you enable this like button?
1) On the plugin Buttons tab.
2) Using [likebtn] shortcode.
3) By inserting HTML-code into the post/page.

The page like buttons work fine. The list is accurate. But it was setup using the code generator on the wordpress site.

It is the sidebar like button I need to work.
Do I need to set up hosting? I do not even have a name for my site yet.

You wrote:

You set voting frequency to 120 seconds. It looks like you want to allow visitors to vote every 2 minutes. If yes then you have to go to http://likebtn.com/en/customer.php/websites and set "IP address vote interval" for your website to "120" seconds.

You need to specify a site_id parameter data-site_id="5482a8403866e145325010b7" for each like button added using HTML on your local website:

<span style="position: relative; left: 82px; top: 20px;" class="likebtn-wrapper" data-identifier="hostgator" data-site_id="5482a8403866e145325010b7 (http://admin.likebtn.com/admin.php/likebtn/widget/site/5482a8403866e145325010b7/edit)" data-dislike_enabled="false" data-icon_dislike_show="false" data-voting_cancelable="false" data-voting_frequency="120" data-counter_clickable="true" data-counter_zero_show="true" data-popup_hide_on_outside_click="false" data-lazy_load="true"></span>

The same site_id must be specified on the plugin Synchronization tab.

The data-site-id= has solved the sidebar most liked list. Thanks for your input.
